At RitmusZóna, we combine the thoroughness of music schools with the flexibility of private lessons. The curriculum is tailored to the individual—there are no set time limits to reach specific levels, and we do not force unnecessary exercises.
Drum lessons for kids
Due to the size of the instrument, we recommend starting drum lessons once a child is tall enough to play comfortably, usually from primary school age.
Drum lessons for beginners
We introduce the instrument, the fundamental hand and foot techniques, followed by essential rhythm patterns, then we play with music. For those who want to play the drums just as a relaxation alongside work or studies, we do not make the lessons difficult with excessive sheet music reading or heavy technical exercises. We design the exercises so that playing along with your favorite songs quickly brings joy. For those who want more than that, rhythmic and technical exercises, as well as more complex rhythms, play a greater role in their lessons.
Drum lessons for advanced players
We build upon your existing skills. Depending on your goals and current level, we cover various genres (pop, rock, funk, jazz, Latin, etc.), sticking patterns, linear grooves, fills, odd time signatures, double bass drum technique, brush playing, soloing, and playing along to songs.
Online drum lessons
Online drum lessons are also available. An acoustic or electronic drum set, an internet connection, and a smartphone, tablet, or computer are required. Lessons can take place via live video call or through pre-recorded video materials.
